National Skills Academy network expansion
Four new National Skills Academies have now entered the network, bringing the total number to sixteen. Following a competitive fourth round of expressions of interest, the Learning and Skills Council has asked leading employers to develop business plans for National Skills Academies for Enterprise, Information Technology, Power and Social Care. These exciting new National Skills Academies are expected to begin operations in 2009.
